John and his team of Phil and Ashleigh were professional at all times. Always on time for appointments and open houses, whilst giving feedback on all our viewings. The photo shoot and subsequent marketing on the internet was very well done and we feel our property was marketed extremely well. This proved to be the case as we had over 40 groups through at the open houses and two offers before the auction. Then came the disappointment of the auction with only two bidders who would not bid on the day with the result that we eventually accepted less than what had previously been offered. On reflection we don't know whether John should have pressed us harder to consider the earlier offer or whether in his judgement he thought that he could get us more at the auction. Taking all the above into consideration we would still recommend McGrath and John Paranchi to anyone selling in the Putney - Hunters Hill area.

John was great at helping us pre-sale and was very committed to the process rather than worrying about the price. However, the process didn't work for us and whilst John acknowledge he would have done things differently, there wasn't an actual plan after we didn't sell (only 1 registered bidder) at auction. I also felt that John changed his stance on a few things when things weren't going to plan (eg early on in the campaign John said you could use market as a guide for price but this changed when the market seem to be slowing down?. Nothing personal but I wouldn't use John again. We didn't get the price we were after and felt there wasn't a strong Plan B when the auction fell over

When I think of John I think of one word - Professional ! I knew of John through McGrath Hunters Hill when I first moved into the area and had always thought that if ever I needed an Agent he will definitely be my first choice. The time had come when I had to sell my much loved dream home and John was not only compassionate but also patient and trustworthy and was truly looking out for my best interests.
