Many agents came through to give us their market appraisal for our property, but only one stood out above the rest. From the outset, John demonstrated an absolute desire to deliver what ultimately was a very successful campaign. His attitude, market knowledge and attention to detail was second to none. It was however, his strong customer care and concern for our opinion that made us decide on him in the end and what a terrific decision it was. The overall services are good. John is knowledgeable and follow up the work. The only incorrect information that he missed was about the lease agency. The property was managed by one agency before Hockingstuart took over just before the auction. However, during the time of my seeking financial approval, I found that the property was still managed by the old agency while I insisted to the bank to contact Hockingstuart. This cause the delay of the financial process. As I was also taking leave around 10 days before the settlement date, I had less time to prepare all the document. This cause me quite anxious.

I bought a unit in the Melbourne area and John was the agent selling it. My circumstances were unique, as I am currently not living in Melbourne. The sale for me was conveniently fast. Within 2 weeks of seeing the unit, all the paperwork had been completed for both the sale and the rental of the property. Within 30 days, the property had settled.
