Many agents came through to give us their market appraisal for our property, but only one stood out above the rest. From the outset, John demonstrated an absolute desire to deliver what ultimately was a very successful campaign. His attitude, market knowledge and attention to detail was second to none. It was however, his strong customer care and concern for our opinion that made us decide on him in the end and what a terrific decision it was. Very early in the piece John advised us of his scheduled weekly calendar of events with proposed open for inspections and advertising campaign intentions. There were 8 open for inspections throughout the campaign following their completion John would call us and advise the number of groups that had passed through and where he thought each potential buyer was at. The day before the auction he displayed his ongoing customer service by making a home visit detailing who he thought would be in contention and what he thought would be a reasonable reserve. On auction day, he was fantastic driving our selling price well and truly above our reserve. John remained calm throughout the entire sale and it is a testament the the young man who has so much wisdom. Why choose John? The overall services are good. John is knowledgeable and follow up the work. The only incorrect information that he missed was about the lease agency. The property was managed by one agency before Hockingstuart took over just before the auction. However, during the time of my seeking financial approval, I found that the property was still managed by the old agency while I insisted to the bank to contact Hockingstuart. This cause the delay of the financial process. As I was also taking leave around 10 days before the settlement date, I had less time to prepare all the document. This cause me quite anxious.
