From the moment we engaged Jon we felt like he was selling his own property and bringing us a long for the journey. He talked straight - he was honest and extremely accurate in predicting the actual sale price and did not over estimate to us or underquote to potential buyers during the marketing campaign. He was evidence based - He backed up recommendations with multiple actual examples of lessons learned from other properties recently sold in the same area, including from other agents. He was strategic - advised on how to get the biggest bang for buck from maintenance work and staging. The advertising strategy was perfectly targeted for maximum impact and made use of relevant channels (including social media). He was thorough - provided us with a written/verbal update after every open for inspection and was always accessible to answer our questions. He was resourceful - arranged for multiple quotes and coordinated all the maintenance work and staging, whilst keeping us fully informed and in control of the decisions along the way. All the work was of extremely high quality and very reasonably priced. The property was tenanted and he assisted to negotiate with the tenants to break the lease 6 months ahead of term, whilst helping them to find another property and vacate in sufficient time for the maintenance work and marketing campaign. He arranged for an auctioneer that was a master in his field - with the charisma (who didn't crack insulting jokes) to generate the excitement and competitive tension that led to a sale price well above our expectations. I am time poor and he took all the effort and hard work out of selling - In fact I don't think I did very much apart from make decisions. He is very a good communicator and gets straight to the point. He has a pleasant demeanour and very easy to get a long with. I don't think I could sell another property in the future without having Jon represent us, irrespective of the location.
