Excellent agent

My partner and I were in the market for our first home and had come across a few difficult agents in the process. The agents we all have heard about and dealt with in the past - the ones who are only in it for themselves. That was until we met Julia. She was honestly like a breath of fresh air - personable, professional and very responsive. We made the purchase within a couple of days but had difficulty securing our formal approval. Julia was patient and negotiated with the vendor to ensure we did not lose the apartment. Following settlement we were able to access the apartment (prior to exchanging) which made it so much easier for us to get moving on our renovations. We were given a lovely gift as well as some useful contacts and she has followed up to make sure that we have settled in well. All in all a really lovely experience. We cant recommend her enough.

From the very first meeting, Julia was able to put me at ease regarding what is a very stressful process. Right through the sales period, she was in constant touch with me, two or three times a day if necessary, and always fully explained what was happening with possible buyers, and the steps necessary to successfully complete the sales process. We needed to change strategies during the sales period, which proved to be very successful. Julia's insight into the Market and Selling strategies were exceptional, and gave me great confidence in her and also kept me very much at ease right up to the successful sale of the property. Smooth Sale

Knowledgeable, conscientious and professional!

This is the third transaction I have completed with Julia and her service is by far, the best I've received compared to all other real estate agents I've previously dealt with. Her professionalism, negotiation, customer service and communication skills are exemplary. She has kept me and my tenant informed all the way through the selling process. She treated my tenant with respect and courtesy and that really helped us in obtaining the best photos for the apartment and ease in the inspection process. In the end, her professional advice and experience had secured what I believe to be the best outcome in selling price for me. Julia possesses a certain kind of charm and a very warm personality who will connect with anyone in an instant. She has a good balance of negotiation skills and assertiveness that make her so effective in her job, with a nice friendly demeanour that will win you over as a friend! Once again, thank you Julia. Open and Honest

Buying and selling a house can be tricky and the order these two things occur in usually depends on each situation. In our case we purchased first and we wanted to take our time in choosing the right agent that would give us the best possible opportunity for a maximum sale. Our criteria and final decision would not necessarily be based on the agent that was offering the best price on commission and/or the cheapest media campaign. We wanted an agent that not only had expertise of the local area but also one we could genuinely trust and had the vendor’s best interest in the forefront of the decisions they were making. In our previous experience of selling property we were not left feeling this way. We needed to feel comfortable. When we first met Stephen and Julia the biggest point of difference from other agents was the fact that they were a true team. There was no senior and junior of the two as we had seen with other agents. It was definitely a comforting first impression that didn't stop there. McGrath offered many packages in both advertising and commission to choose from to tailor our needs. We were never pressured into choosing any particular package and Stephen and Julia were well equipped with the most up to date knowledge of previous sales in the Lane Cove North area and surrounds. Their advice on what needed to happen to prepare our property for the campaign was second to none and again we were never pressured into doing anything that we were not comfortable with. Throughout the campaign we were updated on a daily basis and had weekly meetings to debrief us on potential buyers. Although we had agreed that auction would be the preferred choice, Stephen and Julia never closed the door on the possibility of selling prior if the situation was came to that. Over the weeks we really got the feeling that Stephen and Julia were putting in as much time and effort into the entire campaign as they would have if they were selling their own homes. This piece
