We live overseas but it was really time to sell our house as it needed work that I could not have managed to do from this distance. So it was a reluctant sale, made more urgent by the fact that I had, for nearly two years been dealing with a terrible managing agent who had been thrust upon us after the sale of the former managing agent's rent roll. So for all these reasons I was really looking for someone I could trust, that I could depend on. After arranging inspections, I spoke with several agents on the phone and had got their estimates for the house. With Julie I felt an immediate sense that this was the person. She was warm and personable, had a real insider's view of the local Kenmore market, and her estimate matched our own. Even though the property had some problems, she seemed to 'believe in the house' in the same way we had when we bought it, which I think, in retrospect, is a very important quality -- it is either there or it isn't. And if it isn't then it is difficult for the agent to sell the house at the price you want. Via Julie we arranged both builder's report's and engineer's reports. The photos also looked gorgeous as did the virtual furniture. Julie held firm to our wishes re: price, engaging in skilled negotiating, and REMARKABLY we had an unconditional contract within two weeks of the house going on the market. So we were thrilled with the outcome, and I would unhesitatingly highly recommend Julie and her team.
