The daughter of a builder, Julie was born and raised in Canberra, growing up in homes built by her father in Narrabundah and then Duffy. After flirting with nursing and secretarial work, she soon turned her hand to a sales career, and once her four children reached school age, she really hit her straps as ACT and southern NSW representative for Britannica Education Services. Within 3 years she had become Britannica s top agent for all of Australia and New Zealand.
When she joined Independent, Julie described it as, "a decision to follow my true calling, combining selling and property." She has not looked back since.
