Karen was great to work with. She was realistic and understanding of the situation and advocated well for us. She was easily approachable and supported me though the whole process, it was very reassuring to have her involved in the process. Pleasant to interact with compared to other agent I have had dealings with, available and explained things well, good support from her co-workers and office team. Would definitely recommend!
Never having sold a house before (this house has been home to us for almost 51 years) it was with some fear and trepidation we began the daunting process of selecting an agent to help us. When we met Karen Hockley she put us at ease straight away with her friendly manner and her professional attitude. The whole process of navigating our way through very unfamiliar territory could have been totally overwhelming but Karen was always available to help us and guide us through things. We had numerous questions and Karen was always willing to talk through our concerns with us, no matter how trivial they may have been to her with her knowledge and experience in the real estate industry, and allay our fears. We were delighted when our house sold the first week it was on the market, which we are sure was due to Karen's strong marketing campaign. She was able to negotiate a really good price for us so we were thrilled about that. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the competent way Karen organised things for us and we would certainly recommend her and Timms Real Estate to anyone wishing to sell.
As the purchaser, we expected Karen to push the price up a little because she was engaged by the vendor. She did that but not excessively. We believe she achieved a fair balance for both vendor and purchaser. Some property detail was hard to extract, but all turned out for the better in the long run with capable assistance of Karens admin staff. Settlement tomorrow, Karen on leave, but haven't heard from Timms yet, 12:00pm.
We had such a positive experience dealing with Karen Hockley and the team. Everything was fully explained on our first meeting and we weren’t rushed at all. It was all about the clients and not about a quick sale.
