As my husband and I had lived in our home since we bought the land and built the Pettit &Sevitt house, it was a wrench initially to decide to leave, and move into Retirement Village. The process from beginning to the auction went as smoothly as we could have wanted. The period over which we finally got to sale was very protracted, owing to many delays in the construction of our new premises. Karen was with us all the way, always pleasant, and with helpful advice, especially with regard to the many tasks one faces only when selling the family home. Karen was always welcome in our home, and we shall miss seeing her! We received less than we expected, but that was because the delays put us into a waning market.
