I am writing in regards to our purchase made with Karen Purcell of Hayden Real Estate Leopold. My partner and I had recently sold our house and were looking to purchase a larger, modern house for our next home. We had seen a few potential properties, but had had trouble for whatever reason - agents not communicating properly, vendors chopping and changing or not even letting us inspect their property for sale!! Then we saw a property with Hayden Leopold. We organised a inspection with Karen. On arrival Karen greeted us in a very warm, friendly, casual but still professional manner. She talked greatly about the property, it’s history and it’s owners. She asked us what we were looking for and needed. Clearly this house had it all for us since we bought it! When it came to making offers, Karen was always courteous. She communicated with us really well we’re things were at and what the vendors intentions were. We were able to negotiate settlement time, price etc to a level that suited us and the vendors I’m sure. Karen did a great job during this process and we cannot thank her enough for helping us get our new home!! Ps. A big thank you to Hugh as well as he had to open the house for a inspection for us another time. He was great as well!

We communicated mainly on the phone, SMS and email to purchase this property from Karen. The property was meant to go on Auction in 7 days and we have to sway Karen for us to put in an offer so that the Auction can be temporary called off or cancelled. After she spoke to the Vendor, we were given 2 days to get our finance just in case. Due to complications, we needed another 2 days and Karen was patient enough and being positive, gave us another 2 more days to get our finance. The rest is history. Along the way, Karen has been great in negotiating with the Vendors to allow us to extend the finance period as the Christmas and New Year Holidays came by and everyone shut down without needing an apology. We would like to thank Karen in helping us to get through the cumbersome period. We could not settle on the Date stipulated in the Purchase Agreement and due to Australia Day on the following day, we had to move it to the following Monday. All in all, it was a great outcome. And we would not have bought the property without Karen's creative & positive mind. We would not hesitate to recommend Karen and to be given an opportunity to Sell or Buy a property.
