We unfortunately had a very unsatisfactory experience with Kate recently. She was absolutely fabulous until we signed the contract. She was scattered with her communication and dropped the ball multiple times throughout our campaign. We ended up with a satisfactory price so we were purely dissatisfied with her sales and communication skills. She didn’t organise the free window clean that was offered before photos. She refused to do mid week opens after week 2 and didn’t open on weekends as soon as an unconditional offer came through. She pushed us to take the first offer and it was only after we declined the two offers from that buyer that we got another $25k from that buyer and not negotiation skills from Kate herself. In the 7 week campaign we only received 2 sales reports which are supposed to be sent weekly. Both these reports came days late and had to be requested. It felt like she was working for the buyer. She often ignored our direction or feedback. Her sales strategy chopped and changed dozens of times. She would ask for a price drop and then the next day say we need to keep it as is. In the end we had 4 interested parties wanting to put in offers from the first 2 weeks of inspections but they were never followed up so they didn’t have an opportunity to put in an offer until it was too late. Very frustrating experience. Spend your money elsewhere. We are currently going through a different agent for our family home sale and our experience has been nothing but pleasant so far.
