I met Kate through work and was instantly impressed with how genuine and generous she was... I told her (once I knew she was an agent) that we were selling our home and unfortunately we had already hired the services of another agency. Needless to say, once our contract ended with the other agency, (we didn't sell in 4 months!) I did not hesitate to call Kate. She took the time to listen to my purge over how angry and disappointed I was with our results to date, but was also honest and explained that we were outside her area, and offered to do some homework for us (We were in Cranbourne nth). She then offered to come over with said homework for a coffee and a chat about the information she had. No questions about using her services, no pressure, it was a coffee and a chat... That 'chat' lasted almost 2 hours and we had a plan. At this point there was still no question of her selling our home, just genuine help. It was my husband (who is the pessimist and always has reservations) who said there and then, 'Lets use Kate, sign us up!' We owned a large 5 bedroom plus study home and she told us it might take some time, but she was confident she would get us a great result. And she did! We had a staggering amount of people to our open houses, and were kept in the loop during the whole process. Including ensuring we were personally ok. Our home sold after 5 weeks on the market (compared to 4 months with no results!) and she sold our home for more than we were prepared to accept! But wait, there's more. After care. What agent offers after care once your home is sold? Kate does. She not only assisted us in finding our new home, but liaised with us every step with advice and how to get the best result for us, and unfortunately the house we fell in love with was with another agent (whom I wouldn't hire in a pink fit), but she still helped us right up to BOTH our sales going unconditional, and still is today.
