Kathie was forging a successful career in sales and marketing in Sydney when family commitments drew her to Newcastle in 2004. She found the process of finding a new home very frustrating and time consuming. There seemed to be a lot of guesswork in pricing properties and a lot of game playing and stress in negotiating. Many of the agents I dealt with were less than helpful. I just wished I had a local friend in real estate that could have helped make the process easier. That experience combined with a love of my new hometown prompted my career change to real estate. I believe clear communication and honest discussions are critical. For most people buying and selling their home is not just the biggest financial decision they are making but also the biggest emotional decision. I’ve helped my grandparents transition to aged care, my parents downsize due to ill health and we have found our dream home so I’ve personally ridden the emotional roller coaster in both buying and selling. I understand what my clients want and need to make the process as stress free and rewarding as possible. Most of my sellers want the best price possible without endless months of open homes and most of my buyers want a fair opportunity to negotiate. For me, it's more about the people than the property. After more than a decade now in real estate I’ve helped clients buy and sell property in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and Maitland regions. Great agent!

Kathie is a fantastic agent who greatly helped us with the purchase of our first property.
