I had been looking for a property on the Gold Coast for a while and found the listing at Artique on realestate.com.au and organised an inspection on Thursday with Penelope. I liked the property and went for a second open viewing on Saturday but the property was not available to inspect. Penelope graciously offered to organise a private second viewing on the Sunday (she did have other plans for the day). In any case I made an offer which after some negotiation was accepted on the same day. Settlement and hand over went through smoothly I felt that both the vendor and Penelope assisted as much as possible to achieve an efficient settlement. As a vendor under pressure to sell within a specific time frame, I could not have asked for more. I had originally listed my property with another agent who, it seemed, wasted precious time with an uncommitted buyer. I then found myself in a situation whereby I needed a buyer and contracts signed within a month.
