From our first encounter with this style of Real Estate we were introduced to its potential and pitfalls by Kelsie. Questions were answered and details provided. The concept of our not returning this property back to a letting pool was of concern, and was fully explained. Other matters that were not clear at signing were outlined in later communications and proved successful. The difficult conflict of building managers, their letting pool and changes to that status, is probably something that may need to be addressed in the early stages,and reduce the factor of friction that may/does occur at settlement. We were lead through the process and were satisfied on settlement by Kelsie. The understanding of Body Corporate Rules and other factors is now our campaign.

Kelsie telephoned me in Sydney in August about the property and whether I had any interest in putting it on the market (cold call). She maintained contact over the ensuing three months, providing useful information about the state of the market, recent sales of comparable properties and other pertinent advice. I arrived in Noosaville on Wednesday 9 November, still undecided about whether to retain or sell the property. We finally met 'face to face' on Friday 11 November at which point I decided to go ahead and sell. Kelsie organized all the details and paperwork in a very compressed time frame, including a comprehensive marketing plan and the associated photography/advertising. I left Noosaville for Sydney early on Thursday 17 November. On Friday afternoon, while I was still in transit, Kelsie phoned to tell me the property had sold at a figure higher than what had been advertised. Contracts were exchanged, Kelsie organized the conveyancing and settlement was completed on 19 December. Given that the property sold very quickly, the price received was better than expected and the finalization of the sale occurred without any disruption, I am a very satisfied vendor.
