What separates Kiki from any other agent I have met is how genuine she is. From day 1 Kiki showed care and enthusiasm. She wasn't just there to make a sale but to ensure that the experience was seamless and pleasant. Communication with her was outstanding (she doesn't call you 16 times a day like other agents do to follow things up!) and she made everything as transparent as possible. Kiki is very personable and trustworthy. Whether it be selling a home, investment property or deceased estate, there is a lot involved in both achieving the best price possible and an overall sense of satisfaction. Regardless of the temperature of the market, the selling journey will be an emotional roller-coaster and there can be unexpected challenges. I first noticed Kiki when perusing various agent web-sites. Both her profile and photo exuded warmth and professionalism. I also enjoyed her market updates and sales-campaign videos. This is exactly the kind of person I want to represent our beloved 9-9A Mears Ave Randwick! Even then I was surprised at how well we clicked from the first phone-call. And she is even more impressive and delightful in person. She has that special mix of being highly professional and highly personable. It was also clear that she was the perfect agent for someone (like me) who has had a fair bit of experience in buying, selling and self-managing rental properties. In those circumstances there’s the danger of the seller thinking they know it all and butting heads with their agent...not trusting the real expert they have chosen. But we managed to negotiate that beautifully. There was a lot of respect both ways. Moreover, because I was closely involved throughout the entire process I felt I was part of a special team. Throughout the selling journey of 9-9A Avenue Randwick I was often reminded of how vital it is to choose an agent that you like and trust. It is a very intense process! There is much more to it than bricks and mortar and money. Letting go of a property is often wrapped up with personal histories, family memories, big life events, hopes and dreams, joyous moments and sadness. In the midst of all that the vendor will be confronted by various weighty decisions. What you need is someone with exceptional communication skills and market experience, passion, empathy, honesty, integrity and dedication. Kiki is all that and then some. I was stunned to see how hard she worked, often late into the night and even during her planned holiday in far north Queensland! I’ve always viewed agents as match-makers of sorts. By the end, the other vendors and I all felt that the gorgeous old mansion (converted to duplexes) had found a “good home” at the best price possible at this particular time. Without Kiki’s frank and frequent communication, and all her other shining qualities all along the way, I doubt we would have made such a great match! Knowing that a lovely family will appreciate and enjoy living at 9-9A Mears Ave makes letting go a little easier....
