At auction my apartment sold for an excellent price. In the lead up to the auction it was not expected, as the feedback from inspections was indicating a lower range. I think that there was some luck involved on the day in that the successful bidder was someone who first inspected the property on the morning of the auction. However I firmly believe that Lachie Fraser Smith, aided by his team, created the conditions that caused that luck to work in my favour. He managed the relationships with potential buyers courteously and supportively, and demystified the auction process so that they were confident to bid on the day; and there were several bidders. Lachie was the auctioneer and he did not falter. He created momentum and even a sense of camaraderie amongst the auction attendees. My experience was a very positive one. Lachie consistently communicated with me and with potential buyers throughout the sale period. He kept me informed about the inspections and the feedback he was receiving so that by the time of the auction I was comfortable that my expectations reflected the market.
