I am pleased my property sold and grateful for Lauchlan's work but I must say I found him somewhat loose with the legalities. For example, it transpired that he gave the purchasers early access to my property a fortnight before settlement - without asking or even informing me. When I discovered this and questioned it, he was dismissive and defensive. As I advised him: under the contract, the purchasers were entitled to one supervised visit within seven days of settlement for a final inspection. Any additional access must be negotiated. I feel his communication skills aren't great. This is my third property sale. In the other cases, the agents have called me on settlement to advise it had gone through and congratulated me but In Lauchlan's case ... crickets.
