Whether Buying or Selling in Hunters Hill, talk to Lee Dowdall FIRST!
I run a very successful business, and am not readily given to faint praise, but McGrath Hunters Hill sales agent Lee Dowdall gets my top marks this month.
Bought a property in Hunters Hill recently offered for Auction by McGrath. Saw it, decided to buy it on the spot, and a day or so later paid a deposit, and signed an unconditional offer to purchase. Vendor agreed to our offer, and all was sorted fast.
This all took place over a couple of days, and Lee’s rapid and professional and honest response to all matters was First Class.
All questions were answered fast, liaising with vendor and solicitors and others who had requested contracts, and he was most pleasant and attentive and HONEST during this frenetic rush. And kept us in the loop at all times.
Lee followed up with us prior to settlement and on the properly inspection day before settlement was as dismayed as we were to enter the unit to see a section of the ceiling plaster and ornate mouldings had collapsed in this 140 year old building. After the initial shock, he liaised with vendor and the Body Corp and a builder, to smoothly and quickly get the matter rectified and repaired, so neither vendor or buyer or settlement was delayed or inconvenienced.
A lot of this is "Bog Basic Good Real Estate Agent Policy" of course, but in a busy market, such smooth professionalism was greatly appreciated by both buyer and seller, and I’d highly commend Lee to anyone buying or selling in this suburb.
Prior to settlement I was interested to find out the 'pets' policy of the Body Corp, and Lee was able to ascertain this for me fast - nothing really to do with an agent with a signed contract, but done efficiently and saved me a lot of time. The vendor of this property I notice has also left positive comments a few messages below for Lee re this same Unit, and that surely is a mark of a good agent – someone whom both Buyer AND seller regard as being smooth and professional, and reactive and who got the job done.
