Lori did a tremendous job in selling our home. She was always available to respond to us and potential purchasers. The purchasers also appeared to hold Lori in high regard. We have used traditional, percentage based agents for previous houses, Upside is a game changer. They are a full service agency, with everything we have received in the past, but saving us $30-40K in traditional agent commissions.
Prior to buying our home we had dealt with some very pushy agents with bullying tactics making the buying process very daunting and off putting. December, 2018 Review and rating of the Upside Team – 7 Francis Street, Sandringham From the outset, the Upside representatives were punctual, professional, attentive and informative. The attitude during the initial meetings was positive, realistic and enthusiastic but not the arrogance which I found to be somewhat customary with other established agencies I was interviewing at the time. Once I had decided to sell my home, I was determined not to be smothered by the well known old school approach but rather take on the more contemporary new style future of the industry model – hence I was willing and prepared to look at some changes in the system and its approach to a residential house sale – I was delighted when I realised clearly that Upside offered me exactly the package and confidence also – hence I was delighted with my decision to sign up with Upside. I was never really in doubt that they would be my preferred choice of Agent but I needed to do the appropriate amount of homework prior to my confirming that the business would indeed go with the Upside Team and business model. Once committed and with varying conversations, new introductions to the Upside Team members, we were ready to go! Lori Ille was a “new” member at this point but circumstantially she took on the driving role and my main contact for all activities but not without the full support and 24/7 attentiveness which I felt present 24/7 from any other members of the team who I had met by that stage. I felt there was not a moment when Lori, at the helm, was not there or indeed driving the campaign in a most professional, transparent, realistic style- she listened and responded, we phone tagged and used the Upside platform (see later) but more to the point she was also there as a supportive back stop, a driving force and able to respond to all the varying style of questions I as a vendor was putting to her.
