The trouble with buying a property at the back end of a bull market is the froth associated with prices and unrealistic expectations of the vendor. In our experience, it seems that in order to get a listing, some agents have to enter an agreement to an assumed (and oftentimes) ridiculous property valuation. It seems like everyone has a story of their friend down the road who got XYZ over the reserve at an auction and their FOMO has sent their property to market. We had made fair offers for various properties and the vendors were completely detached from a market valuation. The same properties are still on the market. It was great to finally meet an agent who managed the process between vendor and buyer with an even-handed approach. The back and forth was seamless, there was no disingenuous jockeying in the background post-offer, just an old-school level of competence and professionalism. Louise is a portrait of how you'd expect a Northern Rivers real estate agent to be. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Dealing with Louise at Byron Beach Realty was a really great experience. She was honest with us, and buyers, and she doesn’t exude any “car salesman” type cliche characteristics often associated with agents. Potential buyers would have appreciated this as well. We ended up selling for much more than we originally wanted (woohoo!) and we can’t thank Louise enough for her dedication and persistence in finding the right buyer for our property.
