I thought Luke was a genuine guy and communicated/negotiated well. I moved into our house and then found out there was a development proposal pending on a place down the road and I'm told Luke is the selling agent... this was pretty disappointing to find out and Luke made no mention of this. It'll change the character of the street significantly, which was one of the big selling points...

Luke will push to get top dollar for your property, but buyers beware, the method used to get the seller top dollar appears to be deceptive. After hitting beyond my highest offer, Luke came back and said there was a higher offer and asked for more, to which I refused. 24 hours later Luke called saying the other buyer pulled out and offered the sale to me whilst still asking for the supposed higher offer. The question remains (and I doubt) if there really was any one else making offers at the amount as Luke said, or was he pulling out an old trick of the trade to trick a buyer into paying more. The circumstances (series of events) were too coincidental for my liking. Also, knowledge of the property was lacking, warranty, installed facilities, available facilities, etc. Due to a few key bits of information being left out and / or inaccurate, I could have been up for extra costs and legal problems, thankfully I had a very good conveyancer who went above and beyond to really save me from a costly mess.
Luke worked very hard to find a buyer for our property and his market knowledge and expert management on the day of the auction ensured a great result.
