Luna, at our request, marketed the home in a higher category than had been suggested by an earlier agent. There was competing interest at the higher range, and we achieved a sale price above the top end of the previous agent's estimate. She has been nice to deal with, and all communication has been timely and effective. Photos and advertising were startlingly good and overall fees very competitive. We highly recommend her as your agent.
It was my first home buying journey but it wasn’t as smooth as I expected. One really need to do the homework well and be fully prepared in all aspects of home-buying process. In my case I checked the house couple of times but once settlement was done found out that there was a issue with hot water tank and had to live without hot water on peak winter for 5 days (with two school going kids) until I finally managed to get a authorised technician after making heaps of calls here and there. So my whole point is that ,during house inspection I checked the hot water and questioned the agent but told me that the hot water is off as no tenant was living at that time. And when I moved in I turned on the hot water and the the story was different. No hot water! So I am not sure if the agent just lied to me or the agent just assumed it was fine and reassured me saying it’s working. The agent was a bit rude later when I reported the issue and told me they can’t really tell if I did something to the machine . That was really sick! Anyways, the owner refunded 50% of the cost incurred by me to fix the tank through the agent. I appreciated that. To sum up, from day one into the process of inspecting and buying that house I didn’t get a good vibe with the customer service and it was a bit of a stressful journey later.
