Being a first time purchaser of a home was a daunting task in itself, and having grown up overseas made this mission all the more filled with a lot more unknowns. Marc was very reassuring, and answered my multiple queries quickly. I would like to bring up that he took time scale down the complexity of Section 32, which had me being very worried. He briefly pointed out important parts of the Section 32 to me over the phone on a public holiday, when I was anxious that my conveyancer would not be able to run through it in time, and I was uncertain if there was much for me to be worried about - it overwhelmed me slightly that I had to understand the implications of a 97 page legal document when I had hardly any knowledge at all. By taking time to explain the document to me, I understood that it was largely a standard document and was confident that my conveyancer would likely be able to finish reviewing it timely. It was also helpful that Marc had offered to provide contacts to another conveyancer whom he knew would complete the task quickly should my own not be able to do so. I knew this was a matter that would be easily resolved and completed in time and that helped to allay some anxiety. Additionally, knowing that it was my first time being an active participant at an auction, Marc offered some tips for me to maintain my composure during the auction. He also stood next to me and my family and guided us throughout the auction. I would also like to mention that Marc is a thoughtful agent as he had mentioned to us to be sensitive towards the seller's emotions after negotiations were complete and the seller was coming down to meet us from the first level (the property was sold at a price slightly disadvantageous to the seller as the market is down). He also helped us to capture the moment by being our cameraman. :) Obviously very pleased with Marc, and wishing him all the best in his career. We met with a number of agents over last 12-18 months and there was a level of comfort when we first met Mark that we did not feel with the others. During the sales campaign the communication was excellent with feed back after every viewing. Once we had a potential buyer the communication was again very good with constant updates.
