Marcus and his team worked hard to sell our Mother's house. The first buyer backed out close to the line but it wasn't long before they found a new buyer. All our dealings were honest and friendly and the make sure to answer your phone calls.

Having a garden containing large deciduous trees we were thinking we would wait until mid spring to best show off the property. Marcus convinced us to auction before spring to best take account of market conditions. Marcus' knowledge of the market and his superior communication skills with potential buyers achieved a result which was beyond our expectations.

Although the property had its challenges, we were disappointed with aspects of Marcus’ (Hodges Real Estate) performance. We would have appreciated better communication during the process, including the incurrence of additional marketing costs. In future, we would use another agent.

Marcus was extremely professional to work with, he communicated with us regularly and was always reassuring us on how the process was going. His knowledge of the market is outstanding as well as advice with other matters regarding the buying and selling of property. I believe Marcus's strongest attribute to be his negotiation skills and as a result a great outcome was achieved.

Unfortunately I had to put my 93 y.o. mother into aged care and then sell her Newtown property.
