Very nice to deal with throughout the entire transaction

Marcus was very personable and answered our questions accurately and informatively. We felt we were dealing with an honest, trustworthy man who was willing to work hard. Admirable qualities! A great experience for us. He kept us informed throughout the process. He went above and beyond in reaching out to our tennant and he minimised the disruption in her life as much as possible. Marcus is a top bloke. We have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

We used Marcus as he was one of the highest sellers and biggest names in our estate. We felt in good hands at the start. The agent completed a physical walkthrough of our property with a check list to describe our property prior to selling. We signed the contract and sold our place very quickly (within 5 days). We did not hear from the agent until an issue arrived at final inspection by the buyers. The advert which was written by Marcus stated we had ceaser stone bench in the en-suite bathroom when we had laminate. 3 days prior to settlement we received a text message stating we had to change the bench to ceaser stone even though he had inspected the property him self and was informed it was laminate. Never the less we were told by him it was our issue as we should have proof read the advert. After attempting to call him multiple times and no answer, a text message stating he would call us back we heard nothing. Already feeling the pressure of settlement and packing with a one year old at home I had a spineless agent who wouldn’t even answer my calls to clarify. I rang consumer affairs and another real estate agency who stated this came down to a contractual issue and had nothing to do with us. I was also advised by marcus I could take down my cctv cameras as they were not advertised. A day before settlement I was informed by my conveyancer I had to put these back up...exactly what I needed a day before settlement. I eventually spoke to the buyers of my house who stated they were unsatisfied with his services and were told mixed things between him and his PA. I had to walk the buyer through how to use the front door, they were unaware the home had an alarm system. They had no handover and this was the first property they purchased in Australia after moving from South Africa. I still haven’t heard from Marcus and would not recommend his services to any one.
