I initially went with Mark because of the 3 or 4 agents that I asked for a valuation, Mark gave me the most confidence in his understanding of the market. He was upfront about where the market was, what he hoped we could achieve, but realistic about potential challenges. This gave me a lot of confidence, as it wasn't just the usual estate agent hype. During the process Mark was in touch with me all the way - we had a call at the end of each open house, all offers communicated but also where he thought they might be willing to go to. In the end we had a price above what we'd hoped / expected, which looked like it might be a problem when the mortgage lender's valuation was way below the market value and Mark was able to connect the buyer to a mortgage broker who quickly secured the mortgage.
