I have lived most of my life in Brisbane’s western suburbs: from Bardon, Paddington, and Indooroopilly, right through the Western Corridor to Brookfield and Pullenvale. During the past 35 years, I have owned and sold 23 properties.
Why is this important for you to know? Because in this time, I have been not only a working, experienced real estate agent, but also a purchaser and seller many, many times over. Thanks to the wealth of knowledge and experience gained from this, I now possess a huge insight and great empathy into the mindset of being an anxious seller, right through to the frustration of being a purchaser trying to find a suitable property.
Being a focused and very experienced agent in all scenarios, I can bring together the most difficult and unlikely matches of personalities and properties. Hundreds and hundreds of properties have changed hands under my guidance, my tolerance, and my ethical participation as a much-respected real estate agent.
PREVIOUS REAL ESTATE HISTORY
Before I ever started in Real Estate I was told…
Real estate is easy. All you have to do is tell the absolute truth every time, no matter what it is, good news, bad news. It doesn’t matter, because you will never have to remember what it was that you said: it will always be just how it was. Just be the guiding hand. The truth always comes through in the end.
This is the essence of my work ethic!
I joined the Conias Paddington office 18 years ago and quickly established myself as a Top Performer. Over 3 years, I consistently ranked in the Top 3 sales consultants across the five Conias Group offices throughout Brisbane at the time.
I commenced work at RE/MAX Profile (Paddington) where I stayed for several years, and again continued to be a top performer in the industry and RE/MAX group. I was selling an average of $1.5 million to $2 million of property each month, which equated to about 5 to 7 properties per month. I managed to achieve this from word-of-mouth referrals from current and past clients and by having access to a broad network of contacts in the Real Estate Industry and around the local areas.
I was constantly approached by other real estate businesses to take the next step and ‘go out on my own’.
Eventually, I opened RealWay Paddington as a franchise office. We started from nothing but quickly established ourselves as a force to be reckoned with in our area, holding our own with the big, high-profiled offices. Through reputation, integrity, transparency, dedication to service, customer loyalty, and lots (and lots!) of hard work, our name became synonymous with results, dependability, honesty, and straight talk.
Towards the end of 2008, due to ill health in my family I stepped out of the arena of real estate for some years to deal with those issues. Although I was physically absent, my eyes and thoughts were always on the market, and I remotely helped many of my colleagues and loyal clients navigate their way through many successful negotiations and transactions in this time. In many ways I found myself almost just as busy as when I had our office open.
By 2012, I was drawn back by my desire to get back to what I love doing, completely immersing myself in real estate once again. The thrill of matching people with property, buyers with sellers, and seeing the relief, excitement and joy on the faces of my clients at the conclusion of a transaction is immeasurable.
SELL LEASE PROPERTY
A new journey began for me in 2015 with Sell Lease Property (SLP). This is a good fit with me, as SLP’s vision for real estate is the same as mine: integrity, transparency, innovation, and accountability. These values form the cornerstone of a successful and professional real estate enterprise. The business model that SLP has created completely streamlines the process, and this along with a team of skilled individuals allows me to get on with what I do best: SELL PROPERTY!
