I first contacted Matt as I wasn't happy with my current property managers. He took it upon himself to go and see the property and give me honest feedback before I had even decided to sell. When I did, the previous property manager had given me an overinflated estimate. When they informed me they had an offer, it was bang on Matt's estimate. Up until this point, Matt had helped me out entirely without a contract or promise of a commission and was genuinely happy to see me accomplish my goal of selling. In the end however, the previous property manager wasn't able to get the sale across the line so I had the opportunity to return to Matt. He managed to contact the same buyer and get the sale across the line within a day. After all the extra work Matt did for me, I'm happy he was the agent who received the commission. He also did so without charging me any advertising or other fees since there was already a buyer mentioned. It's rare to find someone you can trust in the property game but now I have, I wouldn't hesitate to go direct to Matt for any future sales or sales advice.

Matt was upfront with myself and my wife from the beginning, which is what I liked. He explained the whole process to me from marketing to commission, he went through our home went away and came back with a figure of what our home was worth. Have had my house on the market for over 6mths. Whilst that seems like a long time, Matt did absolutely everything he could during this time to find a buyer during a very flat period. Also I was in no rush to sell. Matt was very patient and worked hard to ensure we were getting the best offer and quickly put aside offers that were lower than what we wanted. Eventually Matt's advice was to rent it out for a while and put it back on the market at a later date so that we at least had some income coming in. As luck would have it, as soon as we rented it Matt found a buyer. He has been very professional throughout and has always kept me up to date, and has also been proactive throughout the sale process and put me in touch with a great Conveyancing Lawyer.
