Recently when it came time to sell my investment property, I rang Matt Shipard and he came and gave me an honest appraisal of what he thought the property was worth. I was impressed with his pleasant manner and willingness to help. He stood out from other Real estate agents I had consulted, with his knowledge of the market and his helpful approach, but without the high-pressure sales pitch and pushiness I had encountered with other agents. He listened to what I wanted and gave options, he thought might suit. He has a confident, yet calm, humble demeanour which inspires trust. When I texted or rang Matt, he was always very responsive, at all times. He seemed to genuinely care. My young adult daughters liked that he engaged with them too, answering any questions they had, whereas other agents would only defer to me. So, the upshot of a potentially stressful process, was smoothed out, with Matt keeping me up to date. He let me know how the market was going and what peoples responses were at the open houses. Excitingly, the day of the auction went fantastically well. We got a price that we were over the moon about! The Auctioneer and Matt did an amazing job. We were SO impressed by how they handled it. I was also happy that the buyers got a house I know they will love. They can renovate in their own style, with enough room and garden and lovely neighbourhood to grow their family in.
