We cannot fault the amazing job Matt did in helping us to purchase our very first home. He went above and beyond what he needed to do as an agent and we can't thank him enough for that. Matt was very easy to communicate with and passionate about his job. He was very professional and patient with us, as it took a while for us to find the right home! I can highly recommend Matt as an agent, as he kept us informed & up to date on all procedures , during the recent purchase of an investment property. He was always available for viewings or phone calls.

Initially I contacted Matthew he returned my calls a few times, then when the negotiation started he would take over a week to get back to me, I had to email Jake to get Matthew's attention, I even had a friend ring and enquire about the property to see if my friend would get better response. The initial price emailed to me was $249,000 I had been in contact with Matthew then, I was an interested buyer, the property then had a price reduction to $244,000 (I'm pleased it wasn't my property) I was still interested but the communications from Matthew were very slow coming through. Finally I got Matthews attention he was then very helpful, he met me on site at a time convenient for me, he went had looked at the sewer when I couldn't go. He came out to the property before settlement. He was calm and very polite when my bank delayed settlement. He suggested I use Bathurst Real Estate to manage the property, he advised on the cleaning I had agreed to all this. He came real good in the end but it was a struggle to initially get him going. Would I use Matthew again to buy another property from him, yes I would. Do I recommend Matthew I will say yes, for someone looking to buy

Our initial communication was with Matthew Locke from Bathurst Real Estate, advising him that were from Sydney and looking at moving to Bathurst, but we were unfamiliar with the suburbs. Also, it was difficult for us to view some of the potential homes during the times available on Saturdays, so Matthew made arrangements for us to view them during the week. When we finally made our choice of home, Matthew arranged for us to have access so we could bring up lots of boxes and small fragile items. Also, he provided access for a local IT company to set up an Internet server system for our home business - ready to go as soon as we moved in. Last but not least, Matthew allowed us to provide his contact details to our home security company whilst we were away in Tasmania visiting family from where I am writing this review. In summary, our move up to Bathurst has been made so much easier with the "super service" Matthew provided along the way. His care and attention to our needs during and after our purchase is exemplary and beyond what we expected from a Real Estate Representative. Matthew is the Real Estate agent you always wanted, he takes the time to listen when you speak, he gave us an excellent strategy for our sale, talked us through the pro's and con's as we put the home on the market at an awkward time of the year. Matthew called us every week after our open house days and again usually on the following Tuesday to report on the viewers reactions after having called them the same day.
