We took a punt on selling our house at the start of Covid lockdown #2. It was uncharted waters for everyone - us, the Agent & of course potential buyers. We engaged Matt to market & sell our house, which we have raised our kids in for the past 18 years. Our decision to choose Matt was a simple one. He has lived & breathed West Pymble for 50+ years, selling properties for over 30. We have met Matt in the area over the years, and whether he is selling your house or having a coffee, Matt is a consummate professional, there is no salemans BS that comes from his mouth, it's just honest & reliable information, which can only come from someone who genuinely knows their stuff, which Matt does. Covid lockdown meant that inspections were 1 on 1 by appointment only. So whilst the inspection numbers were understandably lower than a regular 'walk through' campaign, the quality of potential buyers were all 'financed approved, ready to buy'.....no sticky beaks! Our campaign was a short one, and even so, Matt was able to close the sale in 13 days, which in turn enabled us to buy our new home on the same day, pre auction, with a simultaneous settlement. Whilst any campaign comes with it stresses, Matt's daily updates of what had happened, and what was most likely to happen in the coming days, was spot on. Again, his experience in knowing when things would warm up was very impressive, culminating in a pre auction sale that we were extremely happy with. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Matt to market & sell your home. in a word the whole process was 'painless'. Matt organised everthing quickly and once the photo shoot was complete the whole process took two weeks to be finalised.
