I’ve interviewed 4 real estate agencies who are active and successful in the suburb. It took me a while to decide, but Buxton stood out from the rest of the pack. It wasn’t Max’s presentation that convinced me. Watching him and the Buxton team ‘live’ in action in an auction that Max invited me to attend where, they achieved an excellent result for the vendor shortly after the property had to be passed in convinced me Buxton has the ability and resources to deliver on their promises. Max was spot on in his advice on tips for preparing the property for sale. He understood right from the start that I only wanted to spend on items that will make an impact and adds significant value and he didn’t disappoint. His advice was invaluable and clearly made the difference on auction day. He also managed to coordinate with the tradesman (Kimon) to ensure that the preparation work was done in time – this was despite me bringing forward the auction day by 2 weeks. The sale campaign went as smoothly and Buxton team kept me adequately informed of progress. Overall, I was very happy with the level of interest on my property throughout the campaign. Max was also realistic and confident about the result he could achieve. Prior to auction, he advised that if things didn’t’ go well that I should be happy to pass it in and he will still be able to get the right outcome for me. At this moment, I realised that Max really wants to work for the vendor, and wasn’t just interested in generating a commission. The auction went well – strong and competitive bidding and a result that was above my expectations. An excellent outcome, which can only be achieved when you have proper planning, a lot of hard work and the right experience by the right agent.
