Michael was willing to negotiate on sale conditions to enable us to secure the property. What seemed like a particularly difficult sale to us was made easy by Michael's confidence and experience.

My experience selling a house for the first time, I was grateful to have Michael Brown as my agent. Michael was very informative with the market and with the sale progression. We just bought our first investment property and Michael was great throughout every step of the way from showing the house to actually getting a tenant and renting the house for us. If we ever had a problem or required some additional information and extra results Michael was always on the front foot and most of the time was already coordinating something to better our situation and the results. If i was to sell my property in the future Michael would be the first estate agent I talk to, he has great honest values and opinions.

We sold our unit in a tough market, we put it on the market a bit before Christmas and sold not long afterwards. There was hardly anyone looking but Michael found a buyer and a good price regardless. We had one offer, ridiculously low, that Michael worked on before it even came to us. We negotiated a fair price and agreed on a sale and the contract was written up and sent out. The buyer took a while to sign it and Michael was forced to follow up only to be told that the buyer decided he should have included his girlfriend and backed out without bothering to inform us. Though it was out of Michael's control he was suitably apologetic and frustrated by such a low act saying something like "to me a man's word should be his bond". It wasn't too long before an other more reasonable buyer came in with a fair first offer. Again with Michael's help we negotiated a good price and agreed on a sale. This is where Michael's character really shone! We had someone else show interest and wanted to look around. After our previous situation it would have been easy to say yes and see if can't engage a price war between two potential buyers. But Michael stood by his previous statement "a man's work should be his bond", and suggested that we could show him around but make sure he is was aware that a contract had already been made up just not signed yet. There were other delays with this buyer due to their loan agent asking for one thing at a time and the solicitors seemed reluctant to talk openly. Michael's job was finished at this point but he engaged himself in checking with the buyer directly to find out what was happening where the solicitor could not. This ongoing communication was above and beyond and brought much comfort. I really struggle with salesmen, I often find them to be without scruples, but Michael's behavour showed me that his moral compass is works well. I found Michael to be honourable and fair both when it worked for him/us and against.

I helped my mother sell her house when she decided to move to an aged care facility. Michael was one of two agents recommended to us by Open Agent. Michael was very open and honest about the pros and the cons of the house. He was helpful about what had to be done to present the house for inspection. He was very practical and was sympathetic given the emotional situation of my mother moving after 40 years in the one house, Michael was able to quickly create trust between vendor and agent. He also helped us with recommendations for removalists and rubbish removal. The house sold within 7 days of listing and very close to our listing price. We were delighted with the outcome and would recommend Michael as a agent who can be trusted and delivers.
