Recently selling my home of thirty years was a very emotional period for me. I expected it would also be very stressful. Choosing Michael Harris as my agent removed that stress. Michael Harris and his team were absolutely the perfect choice for the sale of my property at 83 St Marys St in Newtown. His market knowledge was second to none, and he has the best reputation of any agent that I've met so far. We had a long and onerous 5 week auction campaign but Michael was there to update me with any important developments along the way. The communication was fantastic from Michael and his team and it's one of his biggest positives. In regards to sales price and negotiation, Michael did a great job. We had only one registered bidder at our auction which was a nervous situation for me to deal with. I was satisfied with the price achieved by Michael. I could not recommend Michael Harris highly enough. Everything from A to Z was done to perfection. You are wasting your time looking at anybody else to sell your property.
Being our first time selling a property, communication and trust in our agent were big factors in our choice. Choosing Michael was well founded as his knowledge of the current market, detailed and consistent messaging and confidence in his decisions delivered us a (relatively) stress free result that was in line with our price expectations. Overall we had a great experience working with Michael and Melissa. A couple of points stood out for us: - The tradesmen work was very well coordinated and managed. We were impressed at the timely manner that this was put together and managed throughout. The quality of the work was also great. - Marketing process could be improved. The photography was good, however the copyright/ content lacks the attention to detail and personal touch we were hoping for. The original proof read very much like a copy and paste job, with some inaccurate details about the apartment. We ended up having to rewrite a few paragraphs ourselves and overall the attention to detail was lacking. - Overall communication was great throughout the campaign. We appreciated the weekly updates from Michael - We got recommended Ann Kinghan as our solicitor; she was efficient at her work, however we also found her professional level lower than expected, e.g. she forgot to update us that the settlement date was moved. - Love the nice touch with the mailed printouts of the brochures after the campaign finished. One suggestion to take this to the next step is to provide a written (email/ printout) report of the process (total visits/ total contracts issued etc) at the end of the campaign.
