In my 75 years on this earth, when I reflect, what I have enjoyed most in life is being and seeing my four Cs. Courage, Commitment, Capability and Compassion. Michael "Mick" Maloney has the lot. He did an incredibly outstanding job under unexpected and great pressure. And that has to be the best bit. When you step up at a time when you are perhaps not quite prepared. Yet maybe the past 50 years has got you ready. Then you just get it done. And he did. Sunday a rest day? It was thought so. Not for him. Michael closed the deal with class.
