Fantastic, decent Agent that I recommend highly
I first spoke to Michael Mills about 4-5 years ago for advice about my Brisbane property, which was leased back to DHA. As I am not from Queensland, I took a chance by googling and found Michael's Agency website. When I phoned him, Michael patiently took his time to explain my enquiries. He never put any pressure on me to sell, and continued providing me with updates about the state of the market. When the DHA lease was close to expiring, in 2017 I travelled to Brisbane and met with Michael for objective advice. Not once did he ever put the hard sell on me to engage his services (one of the biggest "turn-offs" that pushy sales agents should take note of). When the DHA lease recently expired, I remained impressed with Michael and appointed him to sell my property. In addition to marketing to interested buyers, Michael's services went above and beyond the call. For example:
* he attended the final handover inspection with DHA with me to look over the property and point out any remedial work that had to be done;
* arranged access for two air-conditioning installers to get access to the property to measure and quote;
* visited the property twice at my request to take photos of the electricity meter for me so I could sort out the connection;
* removed junk mail from collecting in the mailbox of my property;
* arranged a very reasonably-priced gardener to do some tidy up work to improve the outlook; and * even brought his cordless drill to help secure a newly-installed clothes-line in the backyard, all at no additional cost.
When it came time to market the property, Michael timed it perfectly so that my property was the only one on the market in the block. This greatly helped by ensuring there was no unhelpful competition from other sellers in my block vying for buyers. Within 2 - 3 weeks of placing the property on the market, Michael found a buyer at a price I was happy with. Great service overall.
