A couple of hiccups during the auction which should have been a wake up sign, but I persisted. After the signing of the contract, the seller comes to tell me that the tenant wants a carport and I should put one in for her! What the? You should have done it yourself in the 10+ years that you owned it! And then after the settlement, all the keys to the house magically go missing! Many emails and calls back and forth to the leasing agent, who was actually related to the auctioneer, who was also related to the seller (yeah something didn't seem right) and no keys were found. After a few more emails to Michael, he fixed it and organised to meet with the tenant to get the keys cut. Although Michael has been pretty good, the overall experience dealing with the seller, leasing agent, auctioneer, tenant - below par.
