Michael and his team Josh and Andy were fantastic to work with. They absolutely went the extra mile, ours was a tricky sale and Michael always remained professional, responsive and completely trustworthy. Would highly recommend, and cannot thank enough.
Michael and Andy ensured that my property met by target price and it was on the market for less than a week. They communicated with me regularly about the level of activity in the market. I was able to make use of their knowledge in bidding for a new apartment of my own.
Michael has been our agent a number of times and has been present at many of the open houses we have visited over the years. He is always courteous, well informed and has a vast knowledge of the local home market. Michael is very adept at understanding the needs of his clients without digging too hard or pushing when not required. It's for this reason that we would always contact Michael first for all our Inner West property sales or purchases. I highly recommend putting Michael at the top of your list for your next property interaction.
Professional, reliable, and easy to work with. The entire selling process was handled smoothly and efficiently. Excellent communication and a good result — highly recommend.
Michael Poynting is a tour de force in the Summer Hill/Ashfield real estate market. Michael has a warm and positive communication style and easily puts one's mind at rest regarding the whole 'selling one's home' concerns. Michael is friendly and approachable, listens well and his knowledge of the whole process of buying and selling real estate has made our sale happen very smoothly. Michael is proactive and keen to be of any assistance in the rather daunting 'getting ready to sell' stage. He has helped us traverse the 33 year gap since we last bought our home. Also Michael has negotiated very well in the vendor/purchaser space, with a successful result for both parties. And we have felt very supported throughout this journey. We have no hesitation in recommending Michael Poynting at Harris Tripp Real Estate Agency.
Honestly such a smooth experience. Michael and Josh were really great to deal with throughout the whole process. Always quick to respond, kept us in the loop, and helped us sort things out without any stress. They were super accommodating with inspections and questions, and just made everything feel easy and straightforward, even when things were moving quickly. Really appreciate all the help, would definitely recommend Michael and his team if you’re buying or selling.
Michael and Josh were an amazing team and helped me tremendously throughout this transaction. In every conversation, Michael was direct, professional, and highly efficient. Whenever I had questions about the contract, deposit, or settlement process, he patiently explained everything to me in detail and made the whole process much clearer. I’m truly grateful to have worked with such a professional team.
Michael and Andy are excellent agents. The communication was constant and well delivered. They set reasonable expectations up front so there was no need to pivot mid campaign. They represented us as sellers with integrity and achieved a good result. I recommend Harris Trip to anyone in the Inner West looking for a professional and seamless sales experience.
As a first home buyer, Michael was supportive and understanding of our situation. He kept us in the loop when it mattered and was responsive to our questions. He even sent us a photo of the for sale sign with the newly slapped on sold sticker. Highly recommend.
Michael was recommended by a friend who had used him. When we met him our house was in disarray with too much stuff for the two us with our adult children and 2 large dogs and a cat after being in our house for over 25 years. Unlike the other agent we met with, Michael was prepared to take responsibility for getting quotes from tradesmen and then coordinating all the work to prepare the house for sale. We gave him the keys and walked away. We had already purchased a home that was over an hour from Sydney and we would have struggled to organise this project ourselves. We were happy with the quotes Michael obtained, as they were lower than what we had received, and Michael knew all the trades people from work on previous homes. They did a fabulous job and our house looked so much more presentable than before, with a lovely paint job throughout, polished floorboards and lots of minor maintenance jobs fixed. This all happened while we settled into our new home far away. Other agents had offered to help us get quotes but only Michael and his team offered to take full responsibility for the project management and only consult us when decisions needed to be made. When the house went on sale there was a lot of interest and Michael negotiated a good price for us prior to auction and with a couple who agreed to a short settlement. From the day we moved out and left a neglected house behind us, to the day we settled and paid off our bridging finance was exactly 10 weeks. This was an impressive achievement by Michael and his team, including Josh Elliott, who did a lot of the foot work. We are very grateful to them.
We sold our Summer Hill investment property with Michael, Josh and Andy and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The team are well known across the Inner West for good reason. In a softening market with a rate rise and federal budget looming, they navigated the process with confidence and professionalism and delivered an unconditional block record result that exceeded our expectations. Michael, Josh and Andy were fantastic throughout the whole campaign. They were proactive, kept us well informed every step of the way and were always honest with us even when the market was throwing curveballs. You always felt like you knew exactly where things stood. Michael’s advice at the critical moments was clear and direct. When it mattered most he gave us his honest opinion and we trusted it completely. That kind of integrity is hard to find. If you are selling in Summer Hill or anywhere in the Inner West these are the people you want. We would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.
Michael and his team were a pleasure to deal with through the stressful process of selling our family home. He and his team (Andy and Josh) worked hard in a difficult market environment to secure us the best result and assist us to achieve a simultaneous settlement. Communication throughout was a notable highlight. Highly recommended.
