Michael was engaged to sell 23/146 Power (the flat) after an outstanding result in a Burwood auction. This proved a challenge, and the auction produced no bidders. Michael and his people worked hard afterwards and produced a number of buyers, despite 3 significant issues - the main barrier being the unusual company share title, which impacted access to finance for purchasers. He also managed the difficult task of lowering our expectations on price. He managed well the buyer/vendor price negotiation, and closed the deal within 2 weeks of the unsuccessful auction (which did produce the contact to the purchaser). The sale price was below Michael's original market assessment, and below our expectations as vendors. Michael communicated well at all times, and the unconditional contract was significant, given the potential difficulty in raising finance.

Over the few weeks I worked with Michael on the sale of my sister, Beverley Gardiner's home I found Michael to be a thorough professional who approached his work with a great deal of knowledge and enthusiasm.
