About Michael

Michael started his real estate career in in 1999 in Bateau Bay with a local franchised agent and within the first 12 months, was ranked in the top 10 salespeople in Country NSW. After 21 months with that agent, and with a new found wealth of experience of the real estate market, Michael was recruited to join McLachlan Partners, where he has happily worked ever since. With an extensive background in Architecture & building, and having renovated several homes, Michael recognises the possibilities of each home. As a result, he can advise on maximising a home’s potential, in terms of space, light and functionality to give the best of day to day living. Likewise, with a sound understanding of marketing & presentation for sale, he recognises that the more appealing a property is to the market, the better the possibility of achieving a premium sale price. Having lived locally for almost 26 years, he now has an intimate knowledge of the local market place, and enjoys the benefits of both repeat & referral business from many satisfied clients. In 2015 Michael was recognised with the RER Transaction Club 500 Award, and also in 2015, the RER Silver Performer Award for his contribution to the Real Estate Profession. Born in the UK and having both travelled extensively and lived in various other cities of the world, Michael & his wife Wendy call the Central Coast home. They both enjoy and appreciate the varied lifestyle offered by the region and enjoy the benefits of living in a thriving community.

Excellent local knowledge, great communicator, and I think he really enjoys his profession.

Honest, genuine and never “pushy”. Prior to listing, Michael initially he spent a few, unhurried hours, thoroughly inspecting the property, he suggested a few improvements that made a big difference to the way the house presented and the best way to proceed with the sale. Michael always kept us up to date following each open house with viewers feedback. Ultimately securing a very satisfactory sale prior to auction. I would highly recommend Michael
