When we were looking for an agent to help us sell our first home we spoke with a few agents and decided to go with Coronis as they had previously sold us the house 4 years prior. Natalie was very informative on the sales in the area and we seemed to get along very well with her. She kept in constant communication with us, emailing us and getting back to our texts or phone calls straight away. That is until we actually had a contract on the house. We had a few issues with our prospective buyers which in turn made us quite nervous ourselves (as first time sellers). Unfortunately this is when Natalie went from being constantly available to us to very hard to reach and slow to respond. I understand we may have been a bit panicky but this was the first time we sold a house and needed some reassurance and guidance. I dont believe we got that. And when our house went unconditional we didnt hear from her at all (even though we were having trouble finding another house to purchase). On the day of settlement she came to meet us to pick up the keys and I thought this would be the time when she would thank us for going through them but nothing. She got the keys and left. I didnt expect much but given that I had chosen Natalie (and Coronis) to sell my house I thought that I might get a card, bottle of wine or even a text or email thanking me but I received none of the sort. The agent which we purchased our new home through was exactly the opposite. They were in constant communication with us from the time of contract right through to settlement and we even had a beautiful bow on our new door and a hamper waiting for us with a lovely personalised card. Unfortunately comparing the two agencies (Coronis - Natalie and the agent which we purchased our new home through - Ray White) and the services we received from the two I would have to say that if the time comes to sell our house, or recommend an agency to a friend I would be going with Ray White instead.
