We chose Nathan Fry as our real estate agent because we noticed that there were a lot of Harcourts "Sold" Signs with his name on them and that made us think he must be doing something right! He is very professional, knows the market well, and we think his best quality is that he listens to his clients. He is open to suggestions, he is always one step ahead during the selling process, and he knows how to close a deal. He also tries to help out once your house is sold if you need anything such as a rental or any other information after settlement. He is very friendly, very prompt in answering your phone calls or emails, and we always felt he was working hard to sell our property. Nathan was pleasant to work with. I appreciated that I felt no pressure and I did trust him. Our problem was that the owners did not leave until about five which was frustrating as my sister had come from Tasmania to help, with limited time. It was quite an anti climax when we had been so excited about the move. I did not ring Nathan again because I could not see what he could do at that late stage. There is a hole in the wall were an all round sound system was left and leads coming from other outlets. This could have been discussed with me before hand because I have no knowledge about such system and the owner informed me this is now obsolete. I now understand the curious apology relayed by Nathan about a month prior, that the move may be late. This I understand because they moved into their new home on the day I moved, so probable could not move in until same time as I was given to move in. As an older couple this seemed so stressful and when we did start moving in, the owner was cleaning as though there was no urgency. The gentleman came back later that night to take something from behind the TV. Later I found my TV did not work so I was wondering what he had taken as TV was ok in my other accommodation. When the antenna was checked by the work man who had installed it, the leads had been deliberately changed on the antenna box on the roof meaning it was impossible to gain reception.
