About Nick

Nick Penklis has spent most of his working life in Real Estate. Nick launched SPACE Property Agents in August of 2003 remodelling his existing business with a new name, new image and renewed passion. In November of that year Nick marketed and sold the highest auction sale in Brisbane for 2003. Nick and his SPACE team were on their way to building a real estate brand that Brisbane would recognise and trust. Today, SPACE Property Agents are the holders of many sales records. Nick devotes most of his time to mentoring and coaching his team and building the SPACE brand. His team retention is something that most business owners would envy. Nick has seen 5 of his team members pass long service with more on their way in achieving this benchmark. In the transient world of real estate this is no mean feat and is testament to the wonderful working environment and culture at SPACE. Nick has lived by the mantra of 'look after your people and they will look after your business'. Nick’s goal for SPACE is to have offices across Brisbane. In keeping with his growth plan a second office was opened in South Brisbane in April 2010 with more on the agenda in the coming year. Nick has been an Auctioneer for over 20 years and conducted close to 3000 public auctions. He has donated his auctioneering skills to support many charities including some high profile national events such as the Miss Australia Awards, The Children’s Bear Hospice and The Pyjama Foundations Annual Blue Jeans & Black Tie Gala Charity Auction. Nick’s support for the community both local and large continues to gain momentum. He has recently established the SPACE Property Foundation which will be the fundraising vehicle to support nominated charities each year.

Thoroughly professional and a pleasure to deal with

Nick has a wonderful demeanour and it was genuinely a pleasure to deal with him.
