Nick had great market knowledge and we felt that we could really trust his expert advice in regards to selling our apartment. Nick was able to sell our apartment whilst it was tenanted and was able to build a good rapport with the tenant to ensure the sale process was smooth. Nick has great communication skills, easy to get a hold of and would always call and update when required. We felt very well looked after with Nick and Karen and would highly recommend them.
Nick is an excellent agent who does not overpromise. My apartment was sold within 2 weeks of being listed. I was informed of progress throughout the campaign and was not pressured to make decisions on the fly. The price achieved was above my expectations. I am glad I chose Nick to be my agent .
We do not have praise high enough for Nick and Karen. They are entirely professional, knowledgeable and made selling a breeze. One aspect we appreciated above all else was their honesty and transparency. We were told so many different figures regarding our property but appreciated their spending time researching comparable sales and showing us what to expect based on what had recently sold. We actually got way above what we thought. Nick has helped us with buying as well, giving us his time and help with contacts above what would ever be expected. There is still an air of disbelief I have that this whole thing went so quickly; from my initial tentative approach to Nick at the auction of a nearby apartment (saying something along the lines of " I am interested in selling....and might touch base with you soon''), then formally putting the apartment on the market a few weeks later, a buyer found about a week after that, and then contracts exchanged in blink of an eye. The 'soft sale' we went for worked very well for me, and I am happy. I think Nick read my mood very well about my hopes for a smooth process with a minimum of fuss. The price he achieved was at the upper end of my expectations. So, while final settlement is still some weeks away, I am very happy with everything to date. Now of course I need to find a new home! Oh, and his Belle partner Karen was also really nice to work with. And to think we did all this in the middle of a pandemic!
Our experience with Nick was the best we have had with an agent, in 50 years of buying and selling real estate at various stages of our lives. He immediately understood our needs as older vendors, and offered to take on some of the sale preparation tasks we would normally have had to do. Nothing was too much trouble. He kept to his promises regarding the sale timetable, communicated well, and once our Clovelly house was listed, he had it sold within a week! Everything went very smoothly, and importantly for us, Nick handled the sale in an ethical and transparent manner. He also achieved a price well above what we had hoped for!
