I met Nick when showing some interest on a property in the Eastern suburbs a couple of months ago. Obviously, being a buyer in a "hot" market is not an easy task and you don't expect much support out there to achieve your goal. Nick has been showing me the property and was immediately friendly. Most real estate agents are but when demand is high and offer is low, you do not always get the follow up you expect. With Nick it was different, he was professional, a good listener and willing to understand your situation. He was obviously working hard for the vendor as he should but his communication was clear, price expectations were set from the start so that as a buyer you don't waste your time pursuing a goal you can't reach. This avoids disappointment and time wasting which is gold in a fast moving market. During the whole process, Nick was very responsive and willing to reach a compromise between the vendor and myself. He didn't count his time and effort and was available during the whole process, week days and week-end. No phone calls were left unanswered, no enquiries were left aside, he's been "on the ball" all along applying the right level of pressure to the process so that as a vendor or as a buyer, you know what stands in front of you and can make rightful decisions. In the end, he achieved a good sale result considering the situation but as a buyer it was never tricky or misleading and I knew what to aim for. So kudos to him to be a good communicator, hard-working, reliable with great people skills which helped a stressful process to be manageable and successful in the end.
