Nick Witheriff assisted us in the purchase of our new home. At the inspection nothing was too much trouble and he gave us plenty of space to view and discuss. The home was beautiful but we thought not exactly what we wanted. We spent a further 4-6 weeks seeking the ideal home. During that time Nick never pestered, pressured or pushed but when we asked for a second viewing, he made himself available immediately. The second viewing made us realise our ideal home had been under our noses all the time. During negotiations, Nick assisted greatly in helping us secure the home. It has been an absolute pleasure to deal with Nick, he was always available to assist with information, even when some of the questions were actually out of his realm. Nick has an excellent knowledge of the market and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone buying or selling their home.
We first met Nick when we requested a private inspection of the property we ultimately purchased. From the outset, our impression of Nick was that he was straightforward, trustworthy and with an easygoing, relaxed style. During the process of discussing the sellers' price expectations, re-inspecting the property, studying the building report and negotiation, Nick demonstrated an extremely good knowledge of the property. We also inspected other properties listed by LJ Hooker, which helped us gain a broader knowledge of the market. Clearly, he has excellent knowledge of the property market in northern NSW, and this helped us in reaching our price point. His non-pushy attitude was also much appreciated, and his style allowed the sellers and us to find a mutually agreeable price, without a long-winded haggling process. He communicated well and regularly, but we never felt under pressure, but were instead able to make our own decisions in our own time. We also met a few of the other agents in Nick's team and were impressed by the overall 'culture' of the business, with the same professional, knowledgeable, helpful and non-pushy approach exhibited by Nick himself. We would not hesitate to recommend Nick and his team to potential property buyers or sellers.
