In particular respecting the sellers wishes whilst communicating with me regularly, I was constantly kept informed of the status. Noel's years of industry experience and current market knowledge shone through, keeping expectations realistic. Final inspection conducted by Noel was thorough, and items were actioned immediately. I would like to highlight following the sale and settlement, I had a request, this was actioned immediately by Noel and I promptly received a confirmation email. I found it very refreshing to receive the same high level of service following settlement.

I have given 3 stars only (it could have been less!) because Noel did work quite hard. But working hard as real estate agent is not good enough, it is a given! I will highlight 3 points. First, to start off, I was given a report with estimated selling price…the final selling price was more than 20% off that! Now, I can understand that in a slow or tepid market how the final price may vary depending on a variety of factors. But in a rising market? It says a lot about overestimating (marketing fluff) or lack of knowledge for that particular suburb. Secondly, remember the point about working hard? It came with a gripe. He griped about how much time he was spending on dealing with potential buyers on the property. Excuse me….did I miss something here. Thirdly, and I think this is important, he instructed a separate electrician to work on the property when I did not provide consent to work to be undertaken by the separate company, no quote was shown to me, and obviously I could not have agreed to the quote (because there was none). And when the invoice from the electrician arrived, he wanted nothing to do with it. This is not how a real estate business purportedly with “family values” or “customers coming first” should be run. I have dealt with various other agents previously and this was definitely a poor experience.

His knowledge in his field is excellent and he is very earnest. What impressed us most of all is how hard he works to get the best results for all parties concerned.
