We listed our property with Belle Strathfield based on their reputation as the leading selling agents in the Strathfield area, and after having observed three auctions conducted by Belle in which Norman So was involved, and after having looked at a few other agencies and their auctions. Norman was closely involved in our sale from the beginning, including in the design of a sustained selling campaign which went for 33 days. Norman put a lot of time and energy into the open houses held twice a week in the four weeks before the auction and on the day of the auction. He contacted several potential buyers who had attended previous auctions, and most of these buyers came to the open houses to meet Norman, and most came to the auction. There was intense competition between six or so bidders, and one of the buyers introduced by Norman was one of the last two bidders, and these two bidders took the final price to a very, very high level. The result was a clear record for the street for properties of about 1000 sq m and in terms of $/sq m, and at the time it was the highest house price achieved in Strathfield in 2020.
