We have had no experience in selling a home. Peter and colleagues, particularly Harriet Halmarick, led us through the state of the market, the steps necessary to prepare the property, the options of type of sale, the proposed marketing campaign and recommended dates. Including a marketing price range. There followed an accelerated de-cluttering campaign and advice as to presentation, and recommended experts. Likewise for all necessary planning permissions, surveys, reports and all that. All executed with military precision, accompanied by frequent consultation and close listening by Peter. Although market conditions meant the putative auction had to be abandoned, the private treaty possibilities were closely followed by Peter and Harriet, and a very suitable candidate was escorted through several visits. This lead to a realistic offer that was adjusted upwards somewhat, and a deal was made. While the journey involved quite a steep learning curve, Peter was always listening and explaining, with detailed market data, photographs and where possible, stories about comparable sales.
