I found Peter very easy to work with when selling and buying a home. He was always available and contactable when there was any sort of issue or just a simple question I needed an answer too. I felt like my concerns and issues were important, and I could rely on him and trust his judgement. His experience in the Real Estate Business was an immense advantage to me, and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I am very happy to write my thoughts on Peter. I found him extremely helpful. Nothing was a trouble for him such as opening up for me to show my Sydney friends through when they were on their way to Queensland. He also took many measurements for me of the spaces in the kitchen for the fridge and microwave and the size of the rooms. I don't know how long he has been a real estate agent in the Tweed Heads area but was very knowledgeable about many properties I inquired about. I gave him a list of my requirements and he came up with the exact property for me in a matter of a few days. I initially inquired about 2 other units that I saw advertised and he explained why they wouldn't be suitable for me e.g. no lift or too steep and this saved me time in my search. I also received from the agency a 'thank you gift' for my purchase. This was something I certainly didn't expect as a purchaser and it was certainly far superior to my Sydney gift as a vendor. Peter was enthusiastic and takes a lot of professional pride in his work. However, I have two reservations in recommending Peter and they are reflected in my ratings above. Although both are minor, they are worth noting and keeping in mind when negotiating a selling agency agreement. Basis of my Rating on Market Knowledge - Peter estimated the property's selling price range at $320,000 to $330,000. I do not live in the area but after personally reviewing recent local sales I felt that his estimate was too low. After some discussion we agreed to list the property for $345,000. The property sold for $360,000. I appreciate that vendors expectations are not always realistic and the vagaries of the market can be difficult to predict. However, Peter was too conservative in his estimate. Basis of my Rating on Negotiating - When I obtained a number of quotes for selecting an agent, Peter quoted me 2.5% commission. However, when I went to his office to sign the agreement the commission amount was 2.75%. When I queried this Peter pointed out that his quote was GST exclusive and I accept responsibility for overlooking the 'small print'. Although this is a very minor issue, when I checked a number of other quotes I had obtained they were all GST inclusive.
